Hostess Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Manage the restaurant’s seating chart and assign tables efficiently.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and maintain the guest waitlist.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations and general questions.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability and guest needs.
• Monitor the dining room and help maintain a clean and organized entrance and waiting area.
• Assist with takeout orders, guest requests, and other front-of-house duties when needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and encourage a positive dining experience.
• Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and appearance standards.
• Work as a team with servers, bussers, bartenders, and management.
• Handle guest concerns politely and notify management when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, professional, and positive personality.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
