Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest relations and ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations and waitlists using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Seat guests efficiently, coordinating with the service team to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Handle cashier duties accurately, processing payments via POS systems while maintaining basic math proficiency
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservation inquiries and general questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand to ensure a welcoming environment
• Support food safety protocols and uphold high standards of hospitality throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred; strong guest service skills are essential
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest services and foster positive guest relations

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
