About the role

This is a full-time position for a Hostess in a bar setting, responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a warm and professional first impression while supporting smooth floor operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage guest seating and table arrangements according to availability and reservations
• Assist guests to their tables and provide menus and beverage lists
• Manage reservations, guest bookings, and walk-in guests efficiently
• Maintain an updated seating plan and coordinate table availability with the floor team
• Provide guests with information about the venue, menu, promotions, and special events
• Monitor guest flow and communicate expected waiting times clearly
• Coordinate with the floor and management teams to ensure smooth guest movement
• Assist in handling guest inquiries and requests professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support the team with opening and closing duties when required

About you

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations, or similar hospitality role
• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, confident, and professional personality
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Well-presented
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of reservation or POS systems is a plus

• SMA/SMU/SMK (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hostess / Guest Relations: 1 year (Preferred)
