Hostess

Job Summary :

For the Host. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with a friendly and professional welcome.
• Manage the seating chart, assign tables, and ensure efficient seating to optimize restaurant flow.
• Managing the Resdairy application by coordinating bookings and accommodating special requests when possible.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Process payments and manage the waitlist as needed.
• Assist with planning and coordinating special events or large party bookings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Host, Reception, or Guest Relations role in hospitality is preferred.

• Good knowledge of reservations and guest handling procedures.

• Good understanding of food & beverage offerings and restaurant service.

• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional and a positive service-oriented attitude.

• Good command of English, both spoken and written.

This role will be based at our Lolita’s Uluwatu location.
