About the role

PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras is seeking a warm, professional and welcoming Hostess to join our front office and guest services team. This is a contract position based in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya. As Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire experience with us. You will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable first impression, managing guest arrivals and departures, and ensuring seamless coordination between guests and our service teams. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with genuine warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued

• Manage the reception area and ensure it is clean, organised and inviting at all times

• Check guests in and out efficiently whilst maintaining accurate records and handling administrative tasks with attention to detail

• Respond to guest inquiries regarding facilities, services, local attractions and dining options with knowledge and enthusiasm

• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to address guest requests and concerns promptly

• Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, working to resolve issues to achieve guest satisfaction

• Manage reservations systems and maintain updated information on room availability and guest status

• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and uphold data protection standards

• Assist in providing exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet guest expectations

• Support the front office team during peak periods and cover shifts as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Hostess or in a similar front-facing guest services role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (both written and verbal); additional languages are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm, polite and professional with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with hospitality management software, reservation systems and basic computer applications
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and administrative work
• Professional appearance and presentation that reflects our brand standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing guest needs
