Hostess

Our Italian inspired menu blends seamlessly with New York City’s “Little Italy” authenticity. We prepare our fresh, fine Italian meals in the Clam Bar tradition, where it’s all about the sauce! Work in a fun-loving Speak-Easy atmosphere. We are looking for Hosts/Hostesses to join the Team, to help us provide amazing food, prepared with high standards and accuracy, and provide exemplary service to our Guests who are treated like family.

Host/Hostess Position Summary

The Host’s role is to ensure the Guests are greeted with warmth, seated, and served. They must greet, seat, and thank 100% of the Guests. They must realize that they help set the stage for the Guests dining experience. With the assistance and supervision of the Managers they control the seamless flow of Guests into the restaurant.

They must be organized and have the ability to multi-task. They rotate Guests fairly into different Servers sections, answer the phones, assist with Take Out orders, clean and move tables and chairs as needed, and various other Front of the House functions.

Requirements/Qualifications

· Professional appearance, and positive attitude

· Good conversational skills, with an outgoing personality

· Able to take direction, multi-task, and have organizational skills

· Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible

· Must work well in a Team environment

· Be flexible with their schedules, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

· Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry

Education and Experience Requirements

· High School graduate or equivalent is preferred

• Amiable, outgoing, organized High School students would be considered

Some restaurant experience preferred, but we are willing to train
