Position: Hostess

Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary:
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests and managing the restaurant’s seating flow, reservations, and guest inquiries while creating a warm and professional first impression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, waiting lists, and table availability.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when required.
• Coordinate seating arrangements with the restaurant service team.
• Answer phone calls and respond to reservation and general guest inquiries.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information.
• Monitor table status to ensure an efficient flow of guests.
• Communicate waiting times clearly and professionally.
• Assist guests with special requests and inform the relevant team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception/hostess area.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Follow the restaurant’s grooming, service, and hospitality standards.

Requirements:

• UAE experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, well-presented, and professional.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy service periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
