What You’ll Do:

As a Lucky Hare host, your mission is to create a smooth, welcoming, and organized guest experience from the moment guests arrive. You’ll manage the flow of the dining room, communicate with the service team, and ensure every guest feels acknowledged and taken care of.

Key Responsibilities:Opening Duties

• Arrive early to ensure the host stand and entry area are clean and organized
• Set up reservation systems and review the day’s bookings
• Check menus, waitlist systems, and communication tools
• Coordinate with management and servers on floor plans and sections

During Service

• Greet every guest warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently
• Provide accurate wait times and maintain clear communication with guests
• Seat guests strategically to ensure balanced service flow
• Communicate constantly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen
• Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries
• Maintain a clean, welcoming entrance and host area
• Assist with bussing of tables when needed

Closing Duties

• Clean and organize the host stand and entry area
• Reset menus, organize materials, and prepare for the next shift
• Ensure all reservations and notes are properly closed out

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in a restaurant or customer-facing role preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, friendly, and composed under pressure
• Ability to stand for long periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
