In this multifaceted role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring smooth seating and guest flow, delivering exceptional food and beverage service, and supporting the culinary team with timely food delivery. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times.
• Manage guest flow by coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service and beverage presentation, while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash and credit card payments securely.
• Assist in food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain food safety standards; support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine or spirits, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support the restaurant team during busy nights by managing multiple responsibilities such as cashiering, serving, and assisting with food running duties to keep service seamless.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately; understanding of cash handling procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced hospitality setting; nightclub or hospitality experience is advantageous.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
