SLICE SHOP GREETER / LINE CONTROLYOUR #1 JOB: SET THE VIBE.

You are the first person our customers see when they walk into Slice Shop. Before they taste the pizza, before they order, and before they talk to anyone behind the counter — they meet you.

We want BIG energy. Happy. Outgoing. Friendly. Confident. Helpful. Never shy, never standing around, and never looking bored.

WHAT WE EXPECT

WELCOME EVERYONE.
Every customer should be acknowledged with a smile and a genuine, energetic welcome. Make them feel like we're actually happy they came in.

EXPLAIN HOW SLICE SHOP WORKS.
If someone looks new or unsure, jump in! Explain where to start, how to order, where to move next, and what they can expect.

TALK TO PEOPLE.
Make a little small talk. Ask if they've been here before. Ask what kind of pizza they like. Have some fun with them. You don't need to overdo it — just be friendly and natural.

KNOW THE PIZZA!
You should know every slice, specialty pizza, and menu item we offer. Know what's on them and be able to answer basic questions confidently.

HAVE AN OPINION.
If someone asks, “What's your favorite?” — tell them! Give honest recommendations. Customers love hearing what our team actually likes.

CONTROL THE LINE.
Pay attention to what's happening behind the counter. Keep customers moving when the team is ready, slow things down when necessary, and direct people where they need to go.

COMMUNICATE WITH THE TEAM.
Listen to the pizza makers, counter staff, and managers. You're helping connect the customers with the team so the entire operation flows smoothly.

READ THE ROOM.
If someone looks confused — help them.
If someone has a question — answer it.
If the line isn't moving — figure out why.
If a customer needs attention — don't wait for them to ask.

Smile. Talk. Help. Recommend. Direct. Have fun.

Every person walking through that door should feel like they're walking into a place that's excited to have them.
