Host / Food Runner / Takeout- Bad Bambino Charleston, SC · Full-Time & Part-Time

Bad Bambino is a new West Ashley neighborhood restaurant, casual but upscale dining, with food, wine, and service that are polished and precise, and a personality that's warm, relaxed, and welcoming. We're building our support staff team for opening: one role, three skill sets, and a lot of room to move and grow.

What the role covers

Every support staff member is cross-trained on all three of our support roles and rotates between them:

• Host: greet and seat every guest warmly, introduce them to their server, offer water when a server's slammed, rotate sections evenly, keep track of covers per server, get the door, and send every guest off with a genuine goodbye
• Food Runner: know the room (tables, seats, proper no-backhand dropping), keep tables maintained, help polish and restock, and keep the floor moving
• Takeout / Corner Store: our takeout program is unique: pickup happens next door at the corner store. This role checks every order for accuracy, tracks pickups, and sells wine, beer, and ice cream at the register, real hospitality, just on a different POS

What we're looking for

Someone warm, sharp, and self-motivated. You don't wait to be told what needs doing, you look around and do it. You're comfortable moving between guest-facing work and behind-the-scenes hustle, and you take pride in a room running smoothly.

Training

New team members complete a paid, structured training program before working independently, covering our culture and standards, menu and allergy knowledge, and hands-on practice in all three roles.

Pay

Hourly base pay plus tip-out, including takeout tips as our takeout program grows. Full details discussed at interview.

Requirements

• Reliable, on time, and ready to work as a team
• Comfortable learning a POS system
• Evening availability, including weekends

Bad Bambino does not take reservations, so every shift moves. If you like a fast-paced room and want to be part of building something from day one, we'd love to meet you.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 40.0 per week
