Duties

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and manage waitlists using restaurant table management systems such as POS.
• Handle restaurant reservation management efficiently, ensuring accurate booking and timely updates.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables promptly for new guests.
• Support servers by clearing and resetting tables, delivering food and beverages when needed, and assisting with guest requests to enhance guest relations.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing reservation information or directing inquiries appropriately while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures during table clearing and setup.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and exceptional guest services at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles, demonstrating excellent guest relations and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems.
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and table turnover efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and handling phone communication professionally.
• Basic math skills for handling guest and POS transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive guest experiences.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
