Hostess/Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
• Assist with taking reservations and managing waitlists using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages as needed, maintaining a smooth operation during peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing utensils and condiments.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
• Uphold restaurant standards for hospitality, service quality, and food safety.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus).
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning tables.
