Hostess/Cashier

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be proficient in using a point-of-sale (POS) system, and have a strong understanding of hotel operations. **Duties:** - Greet guests warmly and efficiently check them in or out of the hotel. - Manage front desk operations, including handling phone calls, answering guest inquiries, and providing information on hotel amenities and services. - Process guest payments and handle cash and credit transactions. - Utilize a POS system to accurately record sales, manage inventory, and process guest orders. - Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise. - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies are stocked and within reach. - Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest relations. - Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel policies, services, and amenities. - Develop a strong understanding of the hotel's hospitality standards and consistently strive to exceed guest expectations. **Requirements:** - Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting, preferably as a host or cashier. - Strong communication and phone etiquette skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using a POS system, Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to help guests with any questions or concerns. - Basic knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards. - Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Experience in guest relations and hospitality is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
