Duties: Randy's University Diner is seeking a full-time host Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is required. Join a great team in a locally owned family business. • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Manage the waitlist
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
• Operate the POS system to process payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS system is a plus
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong guest relations skills and ability to provide exceptional service
• Basic knowledge of food service procedures
• Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them, taking reservations, answering phone calls, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
