Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings with efficiency and professionalism
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with managing the flow of guests during busy periods, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff as needed
• Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with courteous and clear communication
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process reservations or take-out orders accurately
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a welcoming attitude are key
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest service skills to handle inquiries confidently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest-facing roles
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service at all times
