Hostess/Host (At least 6 months host/hostess experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 6 months of restaurant hosting or front-of-house seating experience and be able to manage guest seating efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, coordinating table assignments, answering phone calls, packing takeout orders, and keeping takeout supplies fully stocked. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Guest Seating & Table Management: Greet guests warmly and assign tables appropriately to maintain a smooth dining room flow and balance server sections.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the host stand, entrance, waiting area, and other front-of-house areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Phone Handling: Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist guests with general questions and takeout inquiries.
• Takeout Order Packing: Pack takeout orders accurately and carefully, ensuring all items are included before handing orders to guests.
• Restock Takeout Supplies: Keep takeout supplies fully stocked, including forks, spoons, napkins, chopsticks, bags, containers, and other necessary items.
• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and professional attitude while providing excellent service to guests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 6 months of restaurant host/hostess or front-of-house seating experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to organize seating assignments and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to work well with other team members.

We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and experienced in restaurant front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping the restaurant clean, seating guests efficiently, and ensuring takeout orders and supplies are properly handled.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
