Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including booking, confirming, and adjusting reservations using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times, ensuring a seamless flow of guests.
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries.
• Maintain organized guest lists and waiting lists to ensure accurate tracking of reservations and walk-ins.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby area, supporting food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; strong guest service skills are essential.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proper phone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices.
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest relations and maintain positive guest experiences.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
