Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic, warm, and reliable Server / Host to join our morning team! In this dual-role position, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant as guests arrive for breakfast and brunch, while also ensuring smooth, efficient table service. Key ResponsibilitiesAs Host:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and manage the daily waitlist using our reservation/table management system.
• Seat guests efficiently, balancing server sections to maintain steady kitchen flow.
• Answer phone calls to take reservation inquiries, answer questions, and assist with pick-up/takeout orders.
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean, organized, and inviting.

As Server:

• Welcome guests to their tables, present menus, and answer questions about daily specials, food ingredients, and dietary options.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, including coffee, fresh juices, specialty breakfast cocktails, and custom breakfast items.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction, anticipate needs (refilling coffee/water, extra condiments), and pre-bus tables.
• Process payments quickly and accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain side work, including restocking syrup, condiments, paper goods, and setting up/taking down tables.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in high-volume restaurant service or hospitality preferred (breakfast/brunch experience is a plus).
• Schedule: Must have open morning availability, including weekends and early shifts (e.g., 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, quick footwork, and exceptional time-management abilities.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort using POS systems and tablet-based reservation tools.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays weighing up to 25–30 lbs.
• Certifications: Food Handler and/or Alcohol Service Certification (e.g., ServSafe) as required by local/state law.

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
