Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Expo to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a lively, positive atmosphere while managing restaurant reservations, guest seating, and communication between front-of-house staff. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional customer service from arrival to departure
• Coordinate guest seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, including reservation requests and general questions
• Maintain clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations
• Assist with food safety procedures by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food handling protocols
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming environment at all times

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar front-of-house hospitality role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating counts, and billing procedures
• Experience with food service operations and understanding of food safety standards
• Organizational skills to manage seating charts, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
