Host/Expo/Busser

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host to join our team. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing top-notch customer service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and supporting our restaurant operations.

Scheduling shifts are Wednesday - Friday 11am to 2pm and Wednesday - Saturday 4:30 pm - close (8-9:30). Friday and Saturday nights are REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist them in finding a table or seat.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that guests receive their food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Clear tables and remove any trash or debris after guests have finished their meal.
• Support the front-of-house team by restocking supplies and performing other tasks as needed.
• Use the TableTurnPOS system to manage orders and payments.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a restaurant/bar setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality best practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
