Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage guest seating efficiently to minimize wait times
• Handle restaurant reservation management.
• Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate guest flow and service needs
• Support guest services by answering phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines during table clearing and setup
• Maintain organized station areas, ensuring smooth operations during busy service periods

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, with a strong focus on customer service and guest relations
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including clear phone communication and professional phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnover efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling guest counts, reservations, and check processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a clean and safe dining environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during shifts
• Hospitality mindset with a positive attitude focused on guest satisfaction
• Nights and Weekends are required

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
