Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservation lists, and seat guests efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as toast.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to deliver food promptly and accurately to tables, acting as a Food Runner to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized dining area by resetting tables and ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with guests via phone for reservation management and inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Use POS systems to process orders when needed and assist with basic math calculations for billing or order accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards, ensuring smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant reservation management and guest services.
• Strong communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, are essential for engaging with guests and team members effectively.
• Knowledge of restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for order processing and billing accuracy are required.
• A commitment to food safety standards and guest relations excellence is vital for success in this role.
• Hospitality experience combined with excellent organizational skills will help you thrive as part of our energetic team.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
