About Us

MRBL is a high-end steakhouse located on the riverfront in Bellevue, Kentucky, offering exceptional food, hospitality, and views of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and outgoing Host/Greeter to join our front-of-house team.

Position Summary

As the first and last point of contact for our guests, our Host/Greeter plays an important role in creating the MRBL experience. The ideal candidate is welcoming, organized, confident communicating with guests, and able to remain composed in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the restaurant waitlist
• Seat guests efficiently while following the restaurant's seating plan
• Answer phones and assist guests with reservation questions
• Communicate reservation notes and special requests to the appropriate team members
• Maintain an organized and professional host stand and entrance
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and other team members throughout service
• Assist with preparing menus and other front-of-house duties as needed
• Help ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable interacting with guests in person and over the phone
• Ability to stay organized and composed during busy periods
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
