We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess and Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, managing restaurant reservations and walk-in arrivals efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Manage guest waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with positive attitude and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible
• Assist servers during busy periods by delivering menus, refilling beverages, or clearing tables as needed
• Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices and restaurant protocols at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; strong restaurant reservation management skills are a plus
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with POS systems is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow smoothly
• Basic math skills for handling guest checks, reservations, and billing processes accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment
• Excellent phone communication skills with proper etiquette for taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $9.00 - $27.63 per hour
