Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent guest services from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
• Answer phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with restaurant table management systems, ensuring optimal seating flow and turnover
• Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the host station
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles, demonstrating strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and guest relations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating counts, and POS transactions
• Familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards in a restaurant setting
• Professional phone etiquette and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
