Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear, courteous communication
• Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction
• Help clean, bus, and re-set tables
• Maintain restroom cleanliness

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
• Knowledge of guest services can be advantageous in providing exceptional hospitality
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are necessary to handle inquiries effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy service hours
• Prior experience in customer service, serving, or hospitality roles will help you excel in this position
