Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing exceptional guest services from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements
• Maintain efficient restaurant table management by coordinating seating flow and optimizing table turnover
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing proper phone etiquette
• Assist guests with seating arrangements, waitlist management, and special requests to enhance their dining experience
• Support food service staff by communicating guest needs effectively and ensuring timely service delivery
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and table settings

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems for efficient operations
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow smoothly
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and billing procedures when necessary
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and food safety practices to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

Pay: $16.00 per hour
