Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills
• Assist with guest services by answering questions, providing menus, and addressing special requests
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests
• Support food safety and cleanliness standards in the front-of-house area to ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions positively and professionally
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing reservations and seating charts
• Basic math skills for handling guest counts and table allocations
• Effective communication skills, including phone communication and guest relations
• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is advantageous
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy service hours
• Understanding of food safety practices and hospitality standards
