Hostess

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and welcoming Hostess to join our family-owned, mom-and-pop restaurant. The Hostess is the first person guests meet and plays an important role in creating a warm and positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Seat guests and manage the dining room seating chart.
• Answer phones and assist with reservations and takeout orders.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and communicate with guests.
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and dining area clean and organized.
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist with menus, takeout orders, and other guest requests as needed.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and respectfully.
• Help maintain a positive, family-friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.

The ideal Hostess is someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent hospitality, and is willing to help wherever needed. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are especially important in our small, family-owned restaurant.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
