Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Manage reservations with precision, ensuring smooth seating flow and minimal wait times.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and seating charts to optimize restaurant flow and guest experience.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating arrangements to foster positive guest relations.
• Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization at the host stand.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
• Experience managing reservations and using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
