Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing a positive first impression
• Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions
• Coordinate with the dining staff to assign tables efficiently, ensuring timely seating and guest comfort
• Maintain accurate records of waitlists, and seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization in the host station area
• Communicate effectively with team members to manage guest flow during busy hours and special events

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proper etiquette
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating times, and guest counts accurately
• Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
