As a Host, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by managing reservations, greeting guests with professionalism, and working closely with our front-of-house team to ensure a seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
• Manage reservations using SevenRooms and OpenTable; accurately maintaining the booking system.
• Seat guests efficiently while balancing restaurant flow and service levels.
• Answer telephone calls and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Handle walk-in guests and waiting lists with confidence and excellent communication.
• Coordinate closely with managers, servers, and the kitchen to ensure smooth service throughout each shift.
• Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area at all times.
• Assist with special occasions, guest requests, dietary requirements, and celebrations.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of Claro's food, drinks, events, and promotions to confidently assist guests.
• Support the Guest Relations with administrative tasks when required.
• Uphold Claro's high standards of presentation, hospitality, and attention to detail.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence using reservation systems (SevenRooms experience is essential).
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within the team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a host, receptionist, reservations, or front-of-house role is preferred.
