Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, positive attitude to foster a welcoming environment
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems to optimize seating flow
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
• Escort guests to their tables efficiently, ensuring smooth seating arrangements and waitlist management
• Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to track seating and guest flow
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest seating and special requests
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to enhance guest relations and satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong organizational skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and table assignments
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, guest counts, and billing procedures
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude and guest focus

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
