Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage restaurant reservations using established table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times or reservation details
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and guest relations at all times
• Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant setting
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
