Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent customer service from arrival to departure
• Coordinate with the dining team to assign tables efficiently, balancing guest preferences and restaurant flow
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waiting lists and monitor table availability to optimize seating efficiency
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness and hygiene protocols in all guest-facing areas

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar hospitality role within a restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone communication and guest interactions
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and billing procedures
• Experience with POS systems and familiarity with food service operations is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

Pay: From $16.80 per hour
