Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vital role, you will create a positive and memorable dining experience by managing reservations, greeting guests with enthusiasm, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations or waitlist details
• Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting areas
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences whenever possible

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
