Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
