Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems Chowbus POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing information about wait times and reservation details while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
• Support food service staff by ensuring smooth guest flow and timely seating.
• Uphold food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness in all guest interactions and station areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Chowbus POS
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waiting lists, and guest flow efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling seating counts and reservation adjustments.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive guest relations.
