Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations using modern table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating efficiency.
• Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting guests with reservations, inquiries, and waitlist updates.
• Coordinate seating arrangements and wait times to ensure a seamless flow of guests throughout the dining area.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate effectively with both guests and staff to manage guest flow.
• Support food service staff by providing accurate guest counts and special requests, enhancing overall guest relations.
• Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness in the host station and adhering to health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong background in restaurant reservation management and guest services.
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently using organizational skills and basic math for accurate reservation counts.
• Experience with POS systems including POS terminals and cash handling is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
