In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring smooth seating arrangements, managing reservations, and delivering exceptional guest service. We are currently only interested in candidates with weekend and night availability throughout the fall and winter seadons.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage seating arrangements efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous and clear communication, handling inquiries and food orders.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing waitlists and providing accurate wait times

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with diverse guests.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly.
• Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
