Host/Hostess

Coco Maya is looking for friendly, dependable, and hospitality-driven Hosts to join our team in Little Italy.

Our Hosts are the first point of contact for our guests and play an important role in keeping the restaurant organized and the guest experience running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who is confident communicating with guests, works well under pressure, and can stay organized in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment.

Weekend availability is required for this position. Applicants must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table availability
• Coordinate seating and guest flow with management and the service team
• Answer phones and assist with guest questions
• Communicate wait times accurately and professionally
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and entrance
• Assist the FOH team as needed during service
• Provide a positive guest experience from arrival through departure

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
• Holiday availability as business needs require

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
