Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel at home.
• Manage reservation bookings efficiently using our reservation system, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant’s offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring smooth flow of guest seating.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times or reservations as needed.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times.
• Assist with guest inquiries or concerns courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred and required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Knowledge of serving procedures and phone etiquette helps ensure smooth interactions both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout your shift.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences is highly valued.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
