Host/Hostess

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a welcoming and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and creating a positive atmosphere within our establishment. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and eager to provide excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
• Provide guests with menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations when appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
• Uphold safety and hygiene standards in all interactions and work areas
• Assist in other front-of-house duties as needed to support team operations

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older to qualify for this position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, approachable, and able to create a welcoming environment for guests
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• Prior customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided

Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
