Host/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess, you are responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and maintaining an organized and inviting entrance area. As the first point of contact for patrons, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm and friendly welcome.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude upon their arrival.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with making reservations.
• Provide information to guests about the restaurant, including menu details, daily specials, and promotions.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
• Manage the waitlist during peak hours, providing accurate wait time estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, including the reception desk and waiting area.
• Assist in coordinating and managing special events or private parties.
• Build positive relationships with regular patrons and make them feel valued.
• Be aware of emergency procedures and act responsibly in case of fire, evacuation, or other emergencies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to create a welcoming environment for guests.
