Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. In this role, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and ensure smooth seating and guest flow. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable.
• Manage restaurant reservation systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, to efficiently organize seating arrangements.
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations accurately.
• Coordinate seating plans to optimize table utilization while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times effectively to guests.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and provide excellent guest relations throughout their visit.
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of reservation materials and guest areas.

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on friendly phone etiquette.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organization skills.
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, wait times, and seating arrangements accurately.
• Familiarity with food service operations, restaurant table management systems, and POS systems.
• Knowledge of hospitality principles, guest services, food safety standards, and restaurant experience to enhance guest relations.

Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour
