Duties

• Greeting guests promptly and courteously as they arrive
• Managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Assisting guests with enquiries and providing information about the venue’s offerings
• Maintaining an organised waiting list and estimating wait times accurately
• Coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow
• Handling phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
• Addressing guest concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their experience
• Supporting team members during busy periods to maintain high standards of guest service

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in guest services, serving, or front-of-house roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations can be beneficial
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills are essential for success in this role
