Job Summary

Sabrosa Restaurant and Tequila Bar is seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor as they arrive, making them feel welcomed and appreciated
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Libro Reservation System
• Maintain waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, ensuring smooth flow of seating
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about the restaurant’s services and availability
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating plans and guest flow during busy periods
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the establishment
• Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interaction both in person and over the phone
• Knowledge of customer service principles and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
