Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic attitude and assist with seating arrangements.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest preferences and wait times.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, providing a welcoming environment for guests upon arrival.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and service flow.
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details.
• Support guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and organization to uphold high standards of hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in restaurant settings.
• Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with hotel or restaurant reservation software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food service procedures and customer service principles is highly desirable.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week
