Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations when needed
• Assist servers and kitchen staff by communicating guest needs and special requests promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Support guest inquiries about menu items, restaurant policies, or amenities with clear and courteous communication

Skills

• Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within a restaurant setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
• Familiarity with food service operations, including POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred to understand flow and guest expectations
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus but not required

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
